This is a short blog! Not because what this client did took a short time but the steps she took were simple!
Background:
Milena was a small city lawyer with a small team. For 5 years, her company offered legal services related to real estate, wills, and a smattering of other legal services. She was paying herself a small salary, but the business was 6-figures in debt because she had not repaid her start-up loan. But she had a bigger dream of being well-paid to be able to pay for American university tuition for her three children. So she worked hard – very hard. But when she overworked, she felt burnt out and her health deteriorated.
Action Steps:
1. Milena joined my private coaching program – Business Freedom Mastery.
2. Despite major resistance from her team, she decided to niche down to focus on providing legal services for serious real estate investors who would come to her for her strategic thinking as well as their multiple real estate purchases, sales, corporate structure, wills, etc. (She focused on her zone of genius).
3. Her audience was easy to find so she positioned herself as the legal expert for this group by speaking at as many conferences, networking events, and association meetings as possible.
4. During her speech, she would share her process – which we gave a title and created a graphic. This became her intellectual property.
5. During the speech, she shared how investors could book a free consultation with her.
RESULTS:
Milena continued to work with me for multiple years.
Within three years,
- She had a clear vision for her expanded future as the GO-TO EXPERT in her industry.
- She raised her fees.
- She created a NEW high-value consulting offer for high-level investors.
- She paid off her debt then she could give raises to her team.
- Her company earned $500K in profit, allowing her to invest in her business.
- She added two new lawyers to her team, which took pressure off her.
- She was able to work fewer hours and prioritize self-care.
- She did invest in a new website.
BEST PART: She did not update her social media accounts or use social media UNTIL she had those results. There was no time, energy or attention given to social media.
This client was the proof to me that you don’t need social media to grow your business.
What you do need is a sustainable Revenue Growth Engine that you can optimize.
For this client, her engine was:

Your Revenue Growth Engine might be different – you need one focused on your strengths and your ideal clients. You do the hard work once (her speech) and continue to rinse and repeat.
It’s simple. But it’s not always instant!
