If you want to achieve something you’ve never done before, then the saying goes that you have to do something you’ve never done before.
In other words,
What got you to where you are now, won’t take you to where you want to go!
But this blog isn’t about platitudes or common sayings! It’s about taking action that makes a difference in YOUR small business.
Do you want to take your business to a new level of success?
Do you have a BIG HAIRY AUDACIOUS GOAL?
Do you want to take your businesses to:
Perfect! I love helping entrepreneurs set BIG goals because the purpose of a goal is to help us evolve into a greater version of ourselves.
The best part about setting a big goal for your business is who you need to become in order to achieve it. It stretches you in ways that you previously haven’t achieved. You have to think, feel and act differently if you want to get results you’ve never had before.
In your own life, I’m sure you’ve stretched to achieve new goals. I remember when I became a new mother – I didn’t know how to raise a child; how to be a loving mother. I had to evolve into my role as a mother. This past year I learned how to evolve into my role as a grandmother.
What about you? Think about new roles you’ve evolved into. Perhaps you left a corporate job to become an entrepreneur? Shifting from employee to small business owner is an example of evolving.
When you have a goal to take your business to another level of success, YOU have to evolve into a greater version of yourself in order to lead your business to that new level.
In this week’s episode #109 (here) of the Work Less PROFIT More business podcast, I share a personal story … not of my own evolution, but of someone I love dearly. It was a dramatic evolution to ‘becoming’ someone new to lead a new life.
During the story, I share pivotal moments that I now share with each of my clients and how you can apply them to your business.
I know you’ll find this episode particularly relative to your ‘evolution’ as a business person.
YOU CAN DO THIS
P.S. What is Diana re-reading this week… TRACTION (a must-read for every business owner).
