This past weekend I was an attendee at a real estate investing conference where 500 participants listened for 2-days to multiple presenters from 8am to 6pm. That’s a lot of information to absorb and remember!

Probably too much information!

But what I do know is that some presenters will be remembered!

They will be remembered not for their statistics, or PowerPoint!

They will be remembered because of their storytelling!

You see stories are the original way that knowledge was passed along whether it was stories in song, written or around the campfire.

Another thing I noticed is that the PERSONAL stories grabbed listeners’ attention and elevated credibility!

Do you have a personal story to share that helps your prospects remember you?

In this week’s episode of Work Less PROFIT More business podcast (here), Anthea Mumby shares her personal story of how she sold the family business. Her story is full of inspiration, key takeaways, as well as the unexpected ups and downs of her experience.

Since over 40% of small business owners will consider exiting/selling their businesses in the next 10 years – learning from her personal story could be what allows you to maximize the sale of your business.
