You’re having a great Discovery Session with a prospective client!  It feels as though this person is your dream client and you know you can serve them well.

You offer your high-ticket package.

Then comes that phrase you dread ……. I can’t afford that!

So, what do you do?

Here are 3 tips to create an option that could still save the sale!

Of course, I’m assuming that you have a high-ticket program (product or service).

Secondly, you have to continue your conversation with your prospect to make sure that they truly CAN’T afford it.

After that, you might suggest one of these offers:

1. An introductory offer!

If you have a signature offer (a high-value program that shares your best gifts and helps your clients transform with your expertise), you’re probably charging $2,000 – $10,000.  Not everyone is ready to jump into your signature offer.

An introductory offer could be a small part of your Signature offer.  Here’s an example:

OPTIMAL HEALTH PROGRAM – 6-month healing program $4,500

HEALTH JUMPSTART – a 30-day short program to create some basic health improvements for $997

When you position the Intro Offer well, sometimes your client will start with the Intro then upgrade to your full system later.

2. Create a home study version

When you’ve got a great signature offer, it might include pdf handouts, videos and/or audios.  And if you offer it as a group program, you may have recorded Q & A calls.  These are all great ‘assets’ which you can turn into a home study version – it just doesn’t include your private time.

3. Do a VIP Session

I believe that coaches should move away from offering single sessions because it is more difficult to earn a great living that way.  However, if you haven’t created a home study version or an Intro Offer, you may want to offer a VIP session.  Of course, it will sell better if it has a short, juicy, client-attracting description so that it sounds like something special.

Example might be: Optimal Health VIP Session – 90 min – $297 (description: we’ll identify your health blockers, create a roadmap for your health and you’ll leave with a clear direction on how to uplevel your health today!
